Professor explores how parents’ implicit biases affect their young children

Professor Tracy Spinrad from the School of Social and Family Dynamics spoke with PsyPost about new research published in the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology.

The study examined how white children’s racially biased empathy toward white and Black target children might be socialized. “To our knowledge, this study is one of the first to examine these questions,” said Spinrad.
