February 24, 2019

The final Open Door event introduced visitors to everything from rescue robots to healthy eating.

More than a hundred activities awaited visitors who made their way across Arizona State University's Tempe campus as each college, school, department and center highlighted the groundbreaking work they do every day.

The School of Life Sciences presented social insects such as bees, along with grasshoppers, hissing cockroaches and two friendly rosy boas, Blue and Rusty.

The Department of English donned their Jedi robes for photos. Sparky joined in on the electron-race fun, where students learned about the electron process in photosynthesis.

While this was final Open Door event of the year, you can look forward to Homecoming during the fall semester, where you'll get another chance to check out ASU's work across disciplines and campuses.
