The 12th annual Pat's Run on Saturday brought together people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels — all with a common purpose: honoring the memory of Sun Devil and soldier Pat Tillman, and the efforts of our military, veterans and those who support them.

The race, the signature fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation, has grown from 5,000 participants to more than 35,000, accompanied by shadow runs around the U.S. Held in late April to commemorate the day Tillman lost his life in Afghanistan serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment, Pat’s Run is a 4.2-mile run/walk around streets in Tempe, symbolic of the No. 42 jersey Tillman wore as an ASU Sun Devil.
