NASA's spacecraft, OSIRIS-REx, recently collected a sample from the asteroid Bennu with the help of ASU's Thermal Emission Spectrometer (OTES), which was built on the Tempe campus. In March, the spacecraft will head back to Earth with the sample, where it will ultimately be returned to the Utah desert.
