THIS WEEK IN SUN DEVIL VOLLEYBALL
The Devils continue their second round of Pac-12 action as they head northwest this upcoming weekend. Friday night will see Arizona State facing the No. 10 Washington Huskies at 7 p.m. in Seattle. A-State will then take on the Washington State Cougars in Pullman at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

PREVIOUSLY FOR THE DEVILS...
Although coming off of a victory against Colorado, Arizona State struggled against ranked opponents California and Stanford. No. 2 Cal took the Friday night match in a 3-0 sweep and held the Devils to only .119 attack percentage and seven blocks, regardless of a tough battle in the third set. Saturday night saw the Sun Devils take the first set against No. 5 Stanford, but the Cardinal came back to win the next three straight to win the match. Ashley Kastl saw a stellar 17 kills on the night, but ultimately the Cardinal were able to outblock ASU 11 to 3.5 and hold the Devils to only 37% attack percentage in the fourth set.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
Washington (16-4, 8-4 Pac-12) split their weekend with a victory over Oregon State and a defeat at No. 18 Oregon, resulting in a three-position slip from seventh in the nation to tenth for the Huskies. UW started the weekend with a dominant performance over the OSU Beavers. In a three-set sweep, the Huskies set a new school record for blocks in a three-set match with 17.5, and marked the 20th consecutive win for UW. In the second season match-up against the Oregon Ducks, the Huskies suffered an upset, regardless of outblocking Oregon 12 to four. Washington remains first overall in blocks per set, while also 15th in aces per set, and 26th in hitting percentage, with seniors Bianca Rowland and Lauren Barfield at fourth and ninth in the nation for blocks. 

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Washington State (11-11, 3-9 Pac-12) suffered tough five-set losses in both matches over the weekend against No. 18 Oregon and Oregon State. Even though the Cougs took the first two sets against the Ducks, Oregon rallied to win the last three sets and get the W. Meagan Ganzer saw 22 kills, and Camryn Irwin had a double-double with 42 assists and 10 digs. WSU saw a similar fate against the Beavers, when the Cougars nabbed the first and third sets to force the match to five, and OSU came down with the victory. Ganzer saw another double-figure performance with 24 kills, and Rachel Todorovich also reached double figures with 13 kills.
