The iTheatre Collaborative production of “Underneath the Lintel,” directed by ASU faculty member Charles St. Clair, will be presented Oct. 18-21 at ASU’s West campus.

This one-person, one-act work stars iTheatre Collaborative founder Chris Haines. The production celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Phoenix company’s founding; it was the original play presented by iTheatre Collaborative.

The play by Glen Berger tells the story of a librarian in Holland who embarks on a quest to find out who anonymously returned a library book that is 113 years overdue. A clue scribbled in the margin and an unclaimed dry cleaning ticket take him on a mysterious adventure around the world.

“Underneath the Lintel” director St. Clair teaches acting and directing classes and is technical director for the School of Humanities, Arts and Cultural Studies in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, the core college on the West campus. He has numerous directing and acting credits in theater, film and video.

Showtimes in Second Stage West, lower level of the University Center Building at 4701 W. Thunderbird Road, are 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m., on Sunday.

Tickets are $10 general admission, $7 for seniors and $5 for students. They may be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com or reserved by calling (602) 543-ARTS (2787).
