Sun Devil women tackle Wildcats, cancer

As ASU prepares to take on rival University of Arizona, the game has an extra meaning – a step in the fight against cancer. The Feb. 20 game, will be ASU's fourth annual "Pink Zone" game to help raise breast cancer awareness.

ASU coach Charli Turner Thorne talked about the game during a session with the local news media.

This year Turner Thorne will personally donate 50 cents to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund for every person who buys a ticket to the game. Additionally, fans will be able to make donations at in Pink Zone buckets that can be found around the arena on gameday. Fans wearing pink to the game will be admitted for only $3 while all kids are admitted for $1.
