Head coach Clint Myers, associate head coach Chuck D’Arcy, assistant coach Scott Woodard, director of operations Annie Voyles and volunteer assistant coach Casey Myers have been named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association West Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Hosting both the regional and super regional rounds in Tempe, Arizona State suffered losses to Syracuse and Louisiana in the regional and super regional, respectively, but bounced back in each case to return to the WCWS for the sixth time in seven seasons. In Oklahoma City, the Sun Devils opened with a win over Pac-12 foe Oregon, but dropped two of the next three games to end the season. This marks the second straight season in which the staff at Arizona State has earned the award for the West Region.

Through seven seasons with the Sun Devils, Myers has accumulated a 377-90 record with a NCAA tournament appearance in each of the seven years, six WCWS appearances, two Pac-12 titles and two National Championships.
