The lecture is set to take place at 4 p.m., Feb. 4, at the ASU Art Museum, located at 10th Street and Mill Avenue on ASU’s Tempe campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.

He Gong’s visit to ASU and the accompanying programming are sponsored by the ASU Libraries, in partnership with the ASU School of Art and the ASU Art Museum International Artist Residency Program, both part of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

He received a bachelor of fine arts in painting and drawing from Southwest China Normal University, Chongqing, China, in 1982, and earned a master of fine arts from Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts in 1985.
