Nominations sought for graduating student awards

The ASU Office of Public Affairs invites ASU faculty and staff, or representatives of a community service organization, to nominate a graduating ASU student for this fall’s Jose Ronstadt Outstanding Undergraduate Award and/or the Ed Pastor Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Award recipients will be recognized during the fall 2010 Hispanic Convocation ceremony at 1: 30 p.m., Dec. 17, at Gammage Auditorium.

Any member of the ASU faculty or staff, or a representative of a community service organization, may nominate a graduating ASU student.

Honorees will be selected based on the following:
•    Academic achievements, GPA, and other academic recognitions (honors, scholarships, awards)
•    Community service & volunteer activities while attending ASU
•    Engagement/involvement/leadership in ASU organizations and/or in the community
