Men's hoops ticket holders get discount to wrestling

January 29, 2009

Fans attending the men's basketball game on Saturday between No. 14 Arizona State University and visiting No. 23 Washington inside Wells Fargo Arena have the opportunity to purchase discounted admission for the Pac-10 wrestling dual between the Sun Devils and visiting Mustangs of Cal Poly, it was announced today. The Pac-10 doubleheader opens with a highly anticipated basketball game at 3:30 p.m. before the wrestlers hit the mat at 7 p.m.

Fans with ticket stubs for the men's basketball game can proceed to the ticket office following the game and purchase tickets to the wrestling dual for just $3. All other tickets for the dual will be $7 for general admission, $5 for juniors/seniors and $3 for each member of a group (15 or more).

The Sun Devil wrestlers (4-5, 2-1 Pac-10) will look to halt a three-dual losing streak and keep the visiting Mustangs (3-8, 0-4 Pac-10) winless in the conference as both teams prepare for the Pac-10 Championships on March 1-2 at CS Fullerton. ASU will be wrestling in one of its last two home events of the year with the finale coming on February 14 at 6 p.m. when the CS Fullerton Titans visit Tempe in the Sun Devils' final dual of the season.
