Men's hoops fall to Ducks 67 to 58

The Arizona State men's basketball team fell to the Oregon Ducks 67-58 Thursday night at Wells Fargo Arena despite a hefty scoring night from junior Trent Lockett. The Ducks went on a 17-6 run in the second half and proved to be too much for the Sun Devils in the end.

Lockett put in 23 points for ASU in only his second game running the point position and added 5 assists, tied for the teams' most with Jonathan Gilling.

Carrick Felix finished with 11 points and drained three three-pointers, two of which came in the opening minutes as Arizona State got off to a red-hot start from the field.

Oregon had four players in double-digits for scoring, led by guard Devoe Joseph with 15. Center Tony Woods added 12.

Oregon shot 53 percent from the field, while the Sun Devils shot 51 percent. ASU outrebounded Oregon 27 to 21, but committed 16 turnovers to Oregon's 8 which proved to be a decisive factor in the game's outcome.

The Sun Devils fall to 5-11 on the season and 1-2 in the Pac-12, as Oregon improves to 12-5 and 3-2 in the Pac-12.
