Fox Sports Arizona to televise ASU-Washington game

Fox Sports Arizona announced today that will televise the Arizona State at Washington college football game live on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m. to its regional viewers in Arizona and New Mexico.

Fox Sports Arizona will air Fox Sports Northwest's production of the game. The ASU/UW match-up will be one of five games televised on Fox Sports Arizona on Nov. 8 and the schedule is as follows: Download Full Image

9:30 am: College Football Saturday Kickoff
10:00 am: Big 12 game - TBA (match-up will be announced Nov. 3)
1:30 pm: Stanford at Oregon
5:00 pm: Arizona State at Washington
8:30 pm: Hawaii at New Mexico State (same day tape delay)
1:00 am: Tape delay Big 12 game - TBA (match-up will be announced Nov. 3)

Fox Sports Arizona televises the most regional sports action in the state and is the exclusive cable television home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona Rattlers and Phoenix Mercury. Softball to host National Championship Celebration and Alumni Game

The Sun Devil Softball Team is gearing up to host an Alumni Game for the ages this upcoming November 1 from 3-7:30 p.m. in Tempe at Farrington Stadium. Included in the festivities are a home run derby, autographs, pictures and trick-or-treat on the field as well as a celebration of the 2008 National Championship. Come see the 2008 'Dream Team' one last time as well as numerous notable alumni and all three coaches in ASU Softball history.

 3:00 PM - Team Warm-Ups

4:20 PM - Awards and Accolades Presentation from 2008 Season

4:40 PM - Introductions

5:00 PM - Home Run Derby

5:30 PM - Team Pre-Game

6:00 PM - Alumni Game at Farrington Stadium

7:30 PM - Autographs, Pictures and Trick-or-Treat on the Field


The event is open to the public and donations will be collected to help pay for the 2008 national championship rings. We encourage all alumni, friends and family members to attend this year’s event and help celebrate the first ever Sun Devil Softball National Championship in program history. Kids are encouraged to dress-up in their Halloween costumes for the game and will be eligible to win prizes for best dressed and participate in the costume parade.

In addtion to the full 2008 ASU Softball Team in attendance, several of ASU's famous Alumni will be in attendance as well as all three coaches in ASU program history who will be celebrated for their achievements in ASU Softball history.
