Downtown campus announces new 411 Gallery art exhibit

The ASU Downtown Phoenix campus is pleased to announce its new 411 Gallery art exhibition.

The 2011 fall exhibition is a platform for organizations whose mission focuses on supporting inclusive communities through empowering and celebrating the assets of individuals with disabilities, promoting the abilities of all people, and providing fair and equal opportunities for independent living among individuals with disabilities.

The 411 Gallery is part of the action, advocacy, arts (aaa) program. The aaa program uses the arts as a central vehicle to build relationships among the community and ASU students, faculty, and staff. By sharing their stories and art, the community transforms the ASU University Center building into a hub of conversation, culture and social engagement focused on issues affecting the university and its surrounding communities. The galleries are free and open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except for holidays. Guided tours may be arranged by appointment.
