Chopin Extravaganza: 1810–2010 celebrates composer’s works

The ASU Herberger Institute School of Music presents the Chopin Extravaganza: 1810–2010, a six-concert series spanning Jan. 25-March 28. Experience the classical works of Frédéric Chopin performed by ASU Herberger Institute School of Music faculty, students and special guests in a semester-long celebration to honor the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth (1810–1849). Special guest artist and pianist Pamela Howland weaves Sand’s autobiography through Chopin’s compositions. This event is co-sponsored by the School of International Letters and Cultures (SILC), the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the French & Italian program.
