Boston College Law hosts Kornhauser

October 26, 2009

Professor Marjorie Kornhauser delivered a talk, "Tax Politics and the Common Folk: 1932-1936," on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Legal History Roundtable at Boston College Law School.

The roundtable gives Boston College faculty and faculty from other area institutions to meet and discuss a pre-circulated paper in legal history, and seeks to promote an informal, collegial atmosphere of informed discussion.

Kornhauser is director of the Tax Literacy Project at the College of Law. Her research focuses on the intersection of federal income taxation and society, and explores the philosophical, social, political, gendered and historical aspects of taxation. She frequently lectures both nationally and internationally, and writes extensively about taxation topics.
