The Sun Devils have a lot to be proud about at this point in their season aside from their .586 win percentage (17-12, 6-10 Pac-12) that puts them in the hunt for a postseason berth. Two players have surpassed the 1,000 benchmark (Preach 1,349 digs; Wilson 1,057 kills) and three players have recorded single-season record performances with a fourth possibly to come. **record book here

Macey Gardner and Erica Wilson have paced the Sun Devil offense throughout the season but the past few weeks have seen surges from Alexis Pinson, Whitney Follette and Nora Tuioti-Mariner. In fact, Tuioti-Mariner posted a double-double against the Beavers in Corvallis last weekend, 12 kills and 10 digs, without a single hitting error for a career high .667 match hitting percentage and also a best for any Sun Devil this season.

This season against Utah and Colorado, Wilson combined for 34 kills and Gardner posted 29 of her own with 17 digs.Allison Palmer averaged 9.43 assists per set against the two teams and Preach was just below her season average with 3.62 digs per set.

Utah's top hitter, Chelsey Schofield, has 348 kills (3.22/s) and is a double threat with a team-best 248 digs (2.30/s). Despite their record, Utah is outhitting their opponents .237 to .203. The last four of five matches for Utah have been against Top 10 ranked opponents.

Colorado's offense is led by Alexis Austin's 305 kills and 910 assists from Nicole Edelman. Defensively they are close to their opponents in total blocks, 223.5 for the Buffs and 234.5 for their opponents. In the last 10 matches, Colorado has won two but when getting past three sets the Buffs improve, 5-1 in five set matches.

About the Utah series
The Utes sit at 12-17 overall and an even 6-6 in conference matches. Currently on a five-match losing streak, Utah is just 2-8 in road games which compliments the Sun Devils who are 8-3 at home in Wells Fargo Arena. The last time the two teams met, Utah swept the Devils in Salt Lake City. All-time, Arizona State leads this series 10-6 dating back to 1975.

About the Colorado series
Traditionally good against the Buffs, Arizona State leads this series 4-1 all time dating back to 1973. The first loss for the Sun Devils came this season in October after Colorado surmounted a comeback for a five-set win in Boulder. Colorado is 14-14, 4-12 in the Pac-12 entering the weekend.
