ASU softball team looks to stay alive at Women's College World Series

In front of a record-setting crowd for an opening session of 5,295 at the 2007 Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City May 31, Northwestern's Eileen Canney pitched a one-hit shutout to top the No. 7-ranked Sun Devils 2-0.

The Sun Devils, now 54-16, will face the No. 14 DePaul Blue Demons at 11 a.m., June 2, where they'll look to keep their softball season alive.
