Art museum presents family exhibit

July 13, 2007

This summer, the ASU Art Museum presents its eighth annual family-oriented summer exhibition, Visual Melodies: Selections from the Permanent Collection. Visitors experience an orchestra of images: violins, pianos, horns and drums, playing a silent melody that is music for the eyes. The exhibition runs through Aug. 28.

Interactive stations within the museum’s galleries allow visitors and families to create their own melodies and art. The ASU Art Museum has partnered with the Herberger College School of Music and the Herberger College ArtsWork program to create music and art experiences for visitors that include experimenting on keyboards, with string instruments, or conducting with a real baton.
