Alum returns to ASU to advocate for veterans

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years, Joanna Sweatt set her sights on a degree from Arizona State University. Sweatt graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in literature, writing and film. After graduation, she came back to work for ASU as a military advocate at the Pat Tillman Veterans Center, where she provides resources and guidance for military and veteran students, as well as dependents.
