Three ceramics MFA candidates in the School of Art were accepted into the NCECA National Student Juried Exhibition. Elliot Kayser, Jonah Thomas and Shiyuan Xu were chosen for this competitive, national student exhibition.

Sixty-one out of over 600 entries were selected for this show, which will be held in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts 50th Anniversary Conference: Makers, Mentors and Milestones, in Kansas City, Missouri on March 16––19, 2016. Application to the exhibition was open to full-time undergraduate, graduate and post-baccalaureate students from around the country. The Leedy-Voulkos Art Center in Kansas City will host the exhibition on March 4 with a formal reception to be held on the evening of March 17.
