Margaret Schmidt

Margaret Schmidt, assistant professor of music education in the School of Music, has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 Arizona Governor's Award for Arts in Education Individual category. This statewide celebration of the arts recognizes distinguished artists, arts organizations, businesses, educators and individuals for their passion, creativity and devotion to Arizona's arts and cultural community.

Schmidt is being honored for her unwavering commitment to furthering music education in Arizona.
