Jennifer Campbell, Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Art, presents the group exhibition, WITHOUT. MEMORY.

What
The ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts hosts WITHOUT. MEMORY, Sept. 8–18. This juried group exhibition features the work of local artists and ASU students. Jennifer Campbell, exhibition curator, presents a collection of art responding to individuals’ collective feelings of loss.

Campbell feels that the physical and emotional reactions to loss are a deeply profound aspect of the human experience. Responses to loss can often draw individuals together, fostering conversations and new relationships. The exhibition explores these concepts though a variety of artistic processes and media. The showcase hopes to engage the community through their collective understanding of loss. 

Where
ASU Herberger Institute School of Art, Gallery 100, Tempe Center Ste. 199, Tempe. The gallery is on the northeast corner of 10th Street and University Drive (located just north of the ASU Art Museum Ceramics Research Center).

When
Sept. 8–18; Artist’s reception, Tuesday Sept. 8, 2009 7–9 p.m.
Gallery 100 hours: Monday through Thursday, noon–5 p.m. Closed Fridays, weekends and major holidays.
